Fun at the Zoo!

Tuesday Alex and I had the honor of going to the Fort Worth Zoo with my friend Tracy and her lovely children.

We had a wonderful time. There were baby giraffes and baby lion cubs! My favorite were the lion cubs--they were so adorable. Only problem was they had their backs to us so I didn't get a good picture.

Here are a few pictures (out of the 300+) that turned out half way decent. A big thanks to Tracy and all the kiddos for putting up with all my picture taking!

Boys will be boys!

Too bad this was the only shot I could get. I wish they were turned around so we could see their cute faces!

(Can't believe that I cut off the goose's head in the reflection!)

Thought this might be fun. Can anyone name
this building and where it is located?

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday. This morning I
picked her up and whisked her off to a
surprise location, The Kimball Art Museum in
Fort Worth. We went and enjoyed the Impressionist
Exhibit. She has been wanting to go for sometime and
what a better day to go and celebrate her big day.
Afterwards, we meet my dad at Mimi's for lunch.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday Mom. Glad I was
able to have some fun with you.

xoxo Christina

Happy Birthday May-May!

Today is my sister's birthday! I am sad that I can't be with her to enjoy her special day together. We always get together, but this time she was out of town for a friend's wedding.
~~Happy Birthday to you and many more.~~

Floating Butterflies

Friday, Alex and I went to the park with my friend Tracey and her kids. After playing for awhile out of the middle of nowhere there are about twenty butterflies flying all around as if someone had just let them loose. It was quite a site. They all stayed together in the same area, floating from tree to tree. It was so pretty just to watch them fly. I officially now have a "thing" for butterflies. Stay tuned as I will post some more pictures from a recent trip to the butterfly garden I went to a few weeks back with my friend Ceci.
